Roles and Responsibilities:
- Test Manager: Oversees the entire testing process, defines the test strategy, allocates resources, and communicates with all stakeholders.
- Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET): Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts; perform component integration testing; and support the overall test automation framework.
- QA Engineer: Executes manual test cases, conducts exploratory testing, and documents defects with detailed reproducibility information.
- Test Lead: Coordinates test execution, monitors progress, and ensures adherence to defined testing processes and standards.
- Business Analyst: Collaborates in defining acceptance criteria and supports user acceptance testing (UAT).
- DevOps Engineer: Manages the setup and maintenance of test environments, oversees CI/CD pipelines, and ensures infrastructure stability.
Responsibilities are assigned using a clear RACI framework to ensure accountability and effective collaboration throughout all testing phases.
